Rusty tractor

During our last Easter holidays, my wife and I went for lunch with friends in a restaurant located in the middle of the countryside just outside Jerez, where the Sherry wine comes from, in the province of Cádiz, South of Spain. The day was beautiful and this old rusty tractor located near the entrance called my attention and I took a picture.

I painted it in my sketch book so it is more an exercise to explore technical aspects than an attempt to generate a final painting, and indeed there are many things that I need to improve.

Comments welcome.

A lovely tractor with an abandonned look and the tree with very little else in the landscape makes for a good atmospheree of abandonment. Not sure about the fence though, it seems to stop abruptly behind the tractor, perhaps it did but as Trevor says perhaps leave it out if you do a final painting. Thanks for sharing
