All the sheep are in the lower fields with their lambs at the moment so the upland fields are deserted as spring comes, though the sheep will be back before long. This is a typical corner of such a field with the stunted trees just coming into leaf but the previous years bracken fronds now dead and red brown colour. Just a quick sketch, not a lot of time to paint at the moment, comments welcome.
