I don't have so many scots pines here in my nearest landscape. But lots of the ones I think are called ponderosa-pine. I have -according to Oliver P, s advice started a sketchbook dedicated to trees. This is some of the practise that I have done lately. And one attempt to real landscape. And there I stumbled on the rocks that also gave reflection and broke the ones from the trees! I shall carry on practising!

I share also the picture that that I drew inspiration from. It is the small beach here in the village. I painted on Saunders waterford, and the sketchbook is Fabriano.
