Farmhouse and Tree
Been struggling with getting away from painting everything very light pale values. Got some excellent advice from a few folks on the forum. Many thanks to all! Here is a similar scene to the one I posted earlier. Used the 3 wash system, lights, mid tones, darks. Any and all advice welcome. I'm still trying to figure this watercolor thing out. It is on small 8x5 inch paper.

Art, as I posted in your post of today, I was glad to see you breaking down a scene into elements and practicing those elements to hone your skills. Keep sharing your practice pieces with us. You're doing the right thing to improve your ability. Logging those brush miles! 😊
