The Shamrock Inn, Hartley NSW 1841

On site sketch at this historic colonial village in the Hartley Valley, NSW. This sketch is all about the light, so emphasis is on the tonal values with suggestion of various textural surfaces to indicate the age and character of the old inn. W & N limited colours - Raw Sienna, Rose Madder Genuine, Cobalt Blue, Viridian. All comments welcome. Thanks.

Marco, have a look at my post - The tonal values of colour - for mixes of these pigments. This image is from a scan so the mixes may appear a little darker than the original chart but will still indicate the range of values that can be achieved from these pigments.
