Limestone

My landscape is a limestone rock in the middle of the Baltic sea. The stone is everywhere, not least in the walls of the characteristic farmhouses. Many of them two storey buildings, with roof once covered with slabs of stone. This particular house is today a rural museum, where we sometime meet up to paint in the lovely garden. Last time I focused on the backside of the house with its giant baking oven sticking out under the chimney. I made a sketch on site and then a larger format at home based on the sketch. All comments most welcome as usual.

Thanks, Erik. Green is horribly difficult, as you also have noticed. This moss is almost translucent in reality.
