Early Spring
Haven't posted anything for some months, I feel I lost motivation and direction with my painting over the summer, not to mention gardening holidays, and life in general! But hopefully, am back on track now and hoping to get out and capture some of the autumn colour, weather permitting.
This is from a sketch of my favourite local lane made earlier this year.

Thanks for your comments Bill. Art can be a real rollercoaster can't it? Glad to see you posting again, it can be very easy to become discouraged, I go through a lot of ups and downs myself, as I'm sure most others do.
Good point about the monochromatic colour, I must admit I did dither a lot about the background trees.
