I live in South Cambridgeshire on the border with Hertfordshire, England. I am a local historian and like painting from old postcards and sepia photos of the old cottages in the village but in colour. I paint with a U3A group (University of the Third Age), which I really look forward to as it is my great relaxation. My aim is to just use the three primaries, warm and cool so advice on this subject is very welcome. I have a PhD in English Local History and write articles and used to give talks to local History Societies.
