Thankyou for your critic Olly it is greatly appreciated as a new watercolourist, next time I’d not be as heavy handed with the splatter, looking forward to some more challenges this was such a great idea, thanks again
Thank you for sharing - certainly looks a cold morning! You have some nice light in the sky and frozen river, and I don't normally look at subjects with so many dark areas, as watercolour tends to work better at the lighter end of the tone spectrum, but your darks look nice and crisply defined without lots of messy overpainting, so well done.
