My very first post in this forum was a painting of a view towards an old farmhouse with the sea behind. This is actually the most southern buildings on my island (Gotland in the Baltic sea). Yesterday I wanted to finish the last spread in an ongoing sketchbook and thought I should try the same subject to see if it would turn out any different after two years of practising watercolour. I think it did. Maybe I could make a larger and more elaborated painting from this sketch?

It's indeed so much better. You leaping forwards. Mote suggestions, better colours used. Your watercolour looks more mature now.
That's beautiful, and you have really come on a long way. It's encouraging for me as a beginner to see. The first one still had hard, unnatural colours, and the trees looked "difficult". This one comes across as very natural and uncontrived. It's the sort of thing that will make people say " Ooh, you're so talented!" Your practice paid off!
