It's lovely to see your interpretation of this scene - thank you. You did well to reduce the foreground, and as Edo points out, keep those washes nice and fluid. Watercolour is all about lots of water and lots of pigment. But really well done....look forward to seeing more!
Thank you so much for your feedback Mr. Hannema, I appreciate it. No, I do not use a sponge, but I do "blot" my brush on an old Tshirt. I will try it again and try to get it a bit wetter as you suggest. Thx again.

It is a good try for that landscape you chose. It will improve if you have the skill and courage to paint it a bit wetter. Always a challenge to get it right. Do you use a sponge to control the water in your brush?
I am new to this Member Forum, and it is a little intimidating to post.. This is a scene in Bend Oregon. It is so beautiful in person, but I found it extremely challenging to paint. My goal is to paint landscapes, and I love Ollie's teaching through both YouTube and Patreon. Thank you Oliver Pyle.
