This watercolor is inspired by nearby Riverway Park in Boston. I have previously posted paintings of footbridges in this park . The roundhouse, with footbridge in the background, is another feature of this urban park that I like. The winter scene makes for a more interesting painting because of the contrast between the snowy ground and the warm colors of the building stone and last remnants of oak leaves.

Your use of tonal contrasts here has created an attractive painting that has an engaging graphic quality to it. The flat lighting helps to promote the sense of a cold day, with the warm stone of bridge and building making a pleasing contrast. Nice work.
