There's an interesting story here and I can understand why this is inspirational - it's a group of buildings that invites a closer look and triggers the imagination - a perfect painting subject! It would be interesting to know your decision-making on the addition of warm colour. I like the light catching the end elevation, but I'm also quite taken by the dull, flat light too. One thing to think about...perhaps keep the horizon lower, similar to the photo and include fewer brushstrokes in the foreground area to promote emphasis on the buildings. Nice work, and thank you for sharing the moment with us.
