Mudeford harbour at low(ish) tide

We visited Mudeford at the beginning of February but it was too cold to do any painting outdoors. I was attracted to this boat and took a few pictures as I thought it might make a composition. I have made some changes to the main reference photo, most (but not all) of which I'm happy with.


I have so far hesitated to include the distant boat. If I did, I would probably move it slightly to the left. On the other hand, part of me thinks I should probably quit while I'm ahead.


Bockingford NOT 15" x 11", Winsor and Newton colours.
