Couldn't resist the luxurious reds of this poppy. However the blurry tangled foliage was the main challenge - I pulled out notional leaves and stalks with a damp brush and built up the depth with darker washes. The hairs on the stalked were pulled out with a damp flat headed synthetic followed by a scalpel blade here and there. From a photo taken by a friend.
