First Outdoor watercolour in 2023
I bake my own sourdough bread, and when I go buy my flour from the Windmill a village nearby, I always see this farm. It is a horsefarm so when you go nearby it's got a smell. But on this path for bicycles Iam far enough.
It's not the smell I keep a distance but I don't like the 🪰 very much.
I did get my flour and on the way back I planned to sketch the scenery.
Perfect weather for that.
I used a block Oliver did send me a year ago. The Langton Prestige rough 300 grams.
I must say a wonderful paper. If you can buy it in your neighborhood please do. I did also have some Princeton travel brushes that are already on wait for a few months. And I like to try them.
As you know, watercolour is the most time waiting that the paper is dry. Now the sun was out, but not to bright. I just could paint wetinwet and not having trouble it dried to fast.
So a hour sounds short. But if you can paint without stopping to much it is really nice to make art. We'll a Sketch.

Hi Edo
It is magic that you make and perfectly illustrates why a photo just wouldn't have given you the same result. I've been away for a few days and had good intentions of sketching but have merely taken photos!!! I'm hoping if I attack them sooner rather than later I'll get some of the atmosphere back but that is a bit of a long shot. Thanks for sharing the video.
