Painted this from a sketch and photo I made last winter ( I take a while to catch up with my sketchbook! 😄) After completing the first version I noticed I'd made the trees too tall, there was too much foreground, and I didn't like the building on the right or the big shadow on the field. So I painted a second attempt on the reverse. I've posted pictures of both versions. Would be interested in any thoughts. The first attempt is the lower picture.
