Fort St Elmo lighthouse in Grand Harbour

I painted this using relatively inexpensive CP watercolour paper by Clairefontaine, made in Netherlands. It's 9½ x 12½", 200gsm / 90lb Goldline Studio pad. It's my first painting on this paper which I was really quite impressed with. Everything worked quite well on it, wet on wet, wet on dry, layering, glazing, and also colour lifted easily when I went wrong (which was quite often) so worked nicely to lift highlights. It's made of a mix of cotton and cellulose, which makes it a lovely surface to work on. This is a second attempt at the watercolour I shared before of "St Elmo lighthouse in Malta")
