Shaman Rock on the Bayikal Lake. My family comes from that region, I'm practicing to make a gift for them for anniversary.

I am a very beginner with landscapes (just bought my first cotton paper couple months ago) and I'm still getting rid of my old bad habits with watercolor and painting in general.

Arches, 26x36 cm. Didn't stretch the paper, thou probably should have. Still struggling with even washes - always feel like a have too hard of an edge in some places. Was working with a very limited palette.

Open to any sort on criticism and advice!
