Southwold Marina in Suffolk
I've been working on a few pieces recently and am really loving my local landscape. Since I live in norfolk alot of the landscape here has water elements to it, alot of life happens at the waters edge and I'm beginning to really fall in love with the Marina's. Here's my recent piece on Arches 140lbs rough, quarter sheet. I've been working on keeping detail only on the parts where I want the viewers eyes to be. Hopefully it's working out slowly. I feel really inspired and enlivened at the moment andnreally glad to be upright again and able to paint.

Beautiful sky, skillfully painted boats, in all angles and sizes.
A focal point with more details where you want us to look is not so clear to me. For more depth you could left the distant boats and houses a bit colourless or more blueish. The red roof, however pale red it is, makes it less deep. But not disturbing at all. Its a nice and fresh watercolour.
