I originally painted this scene on a 6"x12" panoramic paper. I decided to try and enlarge. This is on a half sheet, 14"x20" or 36x51cm. It does not seem to have translated well to a larger format. Perhaps having the top of the beach leading back into the scene at the waterline would help.
