Vineyard in autumn
According to my question about criterion’s for picture choice, i tried to paint the foto of a Franconian vineyard. What do you think about it? Thank you for all your good advices and tips. I decided to „frame“ the picture with two trees on both sides, to create more depth. Does it work?

Birgit, I really enjoyed the discussion in the Q&A section that arose out of your painting and photo. It's good discussions like this in our forum that lead to a lot of learning for all of us, not just the person presenting the painting for critique.
I think you achieved your goals for this painting very well, especially as it was such an intimidating and complicated photo to start with! You now have a lovely autumnal vineyard scene with such a pleasant feel to it.
