This is a biking trail near where I live. Took this picture early summer while biking with my little one. There is an amusement park 4 miles away. We bike over there for ice cream and cotton candy. He still won't let me doing plein air, so I painted the scene from photo.

It's around 6 pm then, the sun shine across the trail but mainly shaded by trees except for that spot. I don't know what that is, but it's has a lot of bark chips.
