Another go at the mill

I haven´t been posting here for a while, mainly due to lack of anything to post. I have spent a lot of time drawing though, mainly in charcoal, which is great fun. Although no landscapes have been painted by me for a while. But today I finally got to finishing a painting that I started over two months ago after posting these "prestudies": https://www.oliverpyle.com/forum/image-sharing/bilds-windmill.

I used a quarter sheet of 300gsm Fabriano Artistico cp. I still have a lot to learn about painting trees. And skies - and just about everything else.... I appreciate any comments and suggestions, since I am committed to spend some time with my watercolours over the next few months and hope to improve at least some of my skills in this magic medium.

Thanks, Erik. Sharp eyes as usual. But there is sadly no phone to blame, since I use my old "professional" slr (a wonderful Canon 5D) with excellent colour handling. Comparing the white paper in the border to the white on the website, I guess it is a touch under exposed, but otherwise the colours are very true to the original.
