My friend Nancy Greene, a fellow watercolor artist, put out a throwdown to our sketching group to paint some of the photos she took in early morning mid-July at this beautiful place. I (of course), chose the tough one: looking at the sun only a couple of degrees above the horizon. I must note that I have been not out and about much because of a knee replacement, so I have been "forced" into making more paintings. Poor me... Why can't I post two images?
