We went on a trip last summer, my husband and I and since then, I keep trying to find a right composition. I'm not sure if I succeeded. I always struggle with the woody hills, as well...

I like the way the color blue leads the eye through the paintingโฆfrom the sky, to the distant hills, to the building shadow and then to the figure. Was this something you planned?
