Sky practice
After listening to the Learn to Paint podcast for a while, I took away the suggestion to just practice subjects without the pressure of having to create a complete landscape painting. So this week I'm going to concentrate on skies. I love skies. Loved to photograph them and now I want to love painting them but for now they just give me a lot of stress 😅
I'm including the reference photo that I took 2 days ago on the beach, it was a great day with rain and sun and amazing skies.
Any input would be highly appreciated! The bottom part is not my favourite. Possibly not enough variety, now that I'm looking at the reference again.
Edit: I tried to edit and now the bottom part is way too messy and dark. Because I have been struggling to find darks in watercolours, I now tend to overdo it 🙄 Oh well, it was a valuable and fun practice. Moving on.

Thanks and you're absolutely right....
