This is a favorite place of mine, easy walking distance from my back gate. It captivates me in every season. It's an old Indian Trail called the Penosha Trail. It's in a state recreation area of about 5,000 wooded acres and I walk it often and have taken dozens if not hundreds of photos of this area where it gently rises, then drops considerably after cresting the hill. The top painting is from a couple of years ago (late autumn). The bottom painting was done a week or so ago as I anticipate the snow that will come in the next month or two.
