Boats and reflections on water
Rotterdam is a busy, built up port city. In the centre is this museum on the water where you can view various water based craft from beautiful old boats to cranes and (in grey) a grain pump which I guess extracted the grain from the boat silos to be poured into trucks on the dock. I just liked the reflections and wanted to capture something of the place. It was a nice fresh day so hopefully that comes across.
Its painted on Waterford CP 450 gsm, so quite a heavy sheet, which is nice to work with. Unlike Arches I find this paper a little unforgiving, you can't pull out colour from it the same way you can in Arches or Bockingford (at least I couldn't) but saying that its still amazing paper of course. Its grain is a little smoother than Arches. Main colours cobalt blue, ultramarine, viridian, light red and raw sienna. The rigging is done with a Cretacolor Nero charcoal pencil.
Comments welcome.

Just stunning! I love this!
