The "Lindenstein" is a small felsenmeer made out of big granite stones very close to my village. The rocks are almost completely covered with moss and in the light and shadow play under the trees it was the ideal motif for my little sketches.

Limited palette: raw sienna, burned sienna, burned umber, pure yellow, French ultramarine.
