This from a sketch I made of a farmhouse near Rievaulx Abbey in North Yorkshire. It's painted on Jackson's Eco paper which is similar to Khadi paper. It is very rough and uneven and demands a lot of water and paint! But I am quite fond of the heavy texture it produces.

Please feel free to comment. If I didn't achieve anything else out of that trip, at least I learned how to pronounce Rievaulx! Something I've never been sure about.
