At the beach

I think practicing skies might be paying off finally unless this one is a fluke ๐Ÿ™ˆ But Oliver showed a technique that is really working for me (putting in the blue wet on dry, then adding water for the fluffy white bits (while also leaving some hard edges) and then quickly coming in with the shadows before it all dries again. The downside here is the timing, I feel so rushed. But when it works the result is quite pleasing I think.

The foreground could have done with less work though. Overworking is still an issue.


From a photo I took at the beach in Katwijk aan Zee (NL) on an fantastic day with many different types of clouds, it was very inspiring!

Now in to a heavy rain cloud, wish me luck ...
