Fond memories of our South African landscape. Gaining confidence, learning, practicing...Our warm winter landscape is most challenging.

I am constantly striving to find my own rhythm, dipping into technical instruction afforded by the web, and adapting this to my own challenges, here in these thorny scrublands and mountain slopes surrounding me.
These three Aloe ferox landscapes are painted from memories of wonderful hikes into the Kloofs and hills. All represent warm early winter scenery. I can hear the wind and sense the crackling of stiff grass and dry leaves, whilst I am watching sunbirds gathering nectar from the Aloes.
Being so new to watercolour, I would welcome this forums advice and critique.
Kind regards from the Drakensberg. Keith

I get kind of thoughtless when watching your paintings, so I will not comment more, but I love to watch them.
