Wycombe, PA Station, 1980

This little railroad station still is a landmark in the Village of Wycombe, located in Bucks County, PA. I lived there through 1970. I was visiting my parents in the late summer of 1980, when I took a walk and photographed this scene. The old trolley car on the right is no longer there. These stations were built along the Reading Line out of Philadelphia and most have been restored and maintained. In PA, we pronounce Wycombe as "why-coume" instead of the UK way. This village was founded by Quakers, some of whom were my ancestors. I used Strathmore 500 rough paper, which is very nice indeed.
