Forum Rules

Please observe the following guidelines where possible:
i) When posting images to the forum, please avoid using high resolution files. JPEG and PDF files up to 2MB would be ideal.
ii) The vast majority of posts and new discussions you will want to initiate should be opened and kept in the 'General Discussion' category.
iii) For questions on single issues, please use the 'Question and Answer' category.
1. No Spam / Advertising / Self-promotion on the Forum
We define spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other web sites, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content. Please do not spam the Forum with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote websites, businesses or forums. Spamming also includes sending private messages to a large number of different users.
2. Do not ask for email addresses or phone numbers
We take our Forum Members' rights to privacy seriously and we would ask you to respect your fellow Members' privacy too. Your account will be banned permanently and your posts will be deleted should this requirement be infringed.
3. Do not post copyright-infringing material
It is your responsibility to ensure that anything that you post and share on the Forum does not infringe copyright rules. The easiest way of complying with this is to only post your own material. Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden.
3. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images
Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material and comments with sexual connotations and/or content, swearing and other obscenities, racism and discrimination is not permitted on the Forum. This includes user-uploaded pictures. Please use common sense while posting and just keep in mind that something that you might be quite comfortable with may not be the case for others; please consider them first.
4. Do not cross post questions
Please refrain from posting the same question in several categories. There is normally one category which is most suitable in which to post your question.
5. Content distribution
Any comments, pictures or other content posted on the Forum is not to be distributed outside of the forum, physically or digitally through other forums and social media platforms and email accounts.
6. Remain respectful of other members at all times
All posts should be friendly and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective - indeed, lively debate is to be encouraged.
However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle other Forum Members, their work, or the nature of this community. It is essential that everyone observes this request and it is what helps to differentiate this Forum from the verbal free-for-all of social media platforms.
Any breach of these rules is taken seriously by the Forum's moderators. The ambition is to operate the Forum with patience and a light touch and where appropriate we will aim to provide Members with a notification when they have disregarded the rules, with a simple request not to in future. However, the moderators retain the right to remove and block any Member found breaking the rules without prior notice.
