Brean Down, Black Rock and the Mouth of the River Axe

This is the peninsular at the South end of Weston-s-mare sticking out into the Bristol Channel. I was born and had my childhood in Weston in the 1960s and 70s and used to play in the WW2 fortifications at the end of Brean Down before they made them safe and rebuilt them . The River Axe flows out into the Bristol Channel between black rock and the landward end of Brean Down. This is low tide where the causeway to Black Rock becomes visible. Not a perfect representation but the best I can do at the moment.

Lovely work. Sky and water are beautiful. Love your greens. They glow. Wonderful.
