Alaska wilderness
Inspired by a landscape from Alaska wildlife conservation center where we saw multiple bears in their made-up habitats. We could not see any bears in the wild during our trip. So I used artistic liberty to modify the foreground of the landscape and added bears and river
While I enjoyed the process of creating an imaginary world, I found it a bit difficult to balance the perspective and dimensions of the elements. This is also my first painting animals and there was a tussle between making the bears the focal point vs making them just another element of the landscape

The mountains and bears are very well painted. However, the band of the grass across the picture is very strong, and I feel it dominates the picture. Maybe toning it down a touch, or putting in a few trees in the middle distance to break it up may help.
