Winter Wetlands
Hello everyone, I have mentioned before that I belong to a Plein air group. This week we painted at a wetland area near the Missouri river. We had 2 and one half hours to complete our paintings. The painting is not as bright as it looks here. Comments are welcome.

Just want to say that I am encouraged by this to go "out of bounds" on color selection. I usually try to approximate the colors in the photo references. And the tans and beiges in the photo's grasses would have been too daunting for me to try to paint it because they are hard to land on in my mixing or they would turn out boring.
