Farmyard Summer Afternoon

First post for quite some time. I'm still trying different papers to compare them to Bockingford, which I have used for

many years. This small painting is on Fabriano Artistico 300gms rough. I do like the way it takes the paint, but it does have a rather unusual texture, which I don't necessarily dislike, but may take a little getting used to. I may even prefer it to Arches.

Has anyone any thoughts on this ( Or any other paper), or even the painting itself.

Thanks for your comments Paul, and your info regarding the paper. I agree that for the size and type of painting, maybe this was a little too rough, I don't normally paint this small, but thought I'd do this just as a try out.

Not heard of Magnani, haven't come across it in the UK.
