The below is my latest landscape painting, based on a trip I did last week into the Yarra Valley. It was a warm summer day, and the view over the valley and hills beyond was very picturesque. The zigzag from the undulations of the fields was something I wanted to draw out, as well as the different hues and values that made some interesting larger shapes. This version is on Bockingford 300gsm. I'm starting another, larger one on Arches - planning a different sequence of washes to see see how that goes.
