A little sketch as a stone study. I like stones, the different colours, the structure, the darks. I like to improve by making small sketch's. Big paintings made me feel overwhelmed. This is on a smaller than A5 size picture, the sketch book from Hahnemühle. If i go out with a very small package, i take with me the Travel booklets from Hahnemühle, very cheap,very handy, but not a bad paper, you can use a certain amount of water, and when it dries, it looks ok. It is for my small pocket, very useful. At home i make a little greater picture. How do you work with your sketches?
