Invitation to experiments
Marcos dynamic sailing picture in acrylics, encouraged me to post one of the pictures, i made in the last days. I discovered two artist, which inspires me and give me impulses to experiment with charcoal, Graphite and let the colours flow and the brushstrokes dance over the paper. Hanna Woodmann and Paul Fowler. I give you an example, how Paul Fowler for example inspired me. I am not sure, wether it is ok, because i haven’t asked him, it is just an inspiration for all, to experiment with divers mediums, to have fun, and find your own style. I tried khadi paper, it is able to handle much water and is very forgiving. Has anyone experience with this paper?

I like this very much, the marks and textures are wonderful. s good to try out different approaches and media, that's what art is about and how we develop as artists. I'm not familiar with Paul Fowler's work, but I do like Hannah Woodman. She has a lovely loose, semi abstract style. I have some Khadi paper that I haven't used yet, but I've done a few on Jackson's Eco paper, which I think is very similar. I've just completed a painting on it which I will post in the near future.
