For various reasons, I've had very little time to paint over the last few months, finally got time to pick up a brush again! What surprised me ( it shouldn't have really) was how much out of practice I'd become. The mantra of painting regularly is certainly true.

This is another painting of a farm near my home, which has always been a favourite spot of mine. This is from sketches made last summer, the interplay of light and shade at this spot always capture my attention.
