Rustic village in early winter

I didnt paint for a while and started again big.

This is the biggest painting that I've done. I feel I played it safe where I could, but Im still very proud of it. Personaly I dont like that pole is in the wrong place, wires are shaky and ground is too orange, but I didnt want to create mud, so I left it like that.

Very well painted. I like the background trees, and the varied tones and colours in the buildings, also the fence in front of the buildings, and the poles and wires add character.

I agree with Jon about the foreground fence, being white and going across the picture distracts the eye. The path is a little on the orange side, maybe a light wash of a bluey grey may help to tone it down.

You should be pleased with this, you said it is a big painting, what size is it please?
