What do you do with a leftover narrow stip of good paper?

Arches or any expensive brand of 100% cotton paper is precious, and you hate to waste any bit of it. When you cut down a sheet to create a size to fit a frame you want to use, what to you do with a narrow strip of paper that's left over? Although you could use it to test color mixes on and such, it still seems like a waste of money when you calculate what that bit of leftover paper costs per inch.

So what do you do? You make a bookmark for a friend!

And you rack up some brush miles for yourself 😊
