I was having trouble getting home from my evening class due to train delays. Amid the frustrations I had this wonderful moment of calm standing at the end of the platform as a gentle breeze played with the plastic tape wrapped around a broken advertising lightbox. If you have ever seen the movie American Beauty, there is this incredible scene of a plastic bag being pushed around by the wind, which shows that there is beauty to find in the most ordinary of things. This felt like one of those moments.
