Solstice Morning in Benson
Hello from Utah, USA. I painted this yesterday which depicts an outing with my family on the morning of the winter solstice. It reminds me of the hope and renewal of returning light and a new year.
There are wetlands surrounding the Bear River on the west side of Cache Valley that are beautiful any season of the year.

It's a lovely moment Thomas and easy to understand the inspiration. You have blended warm and cool colour temperatures beautifully but with restraint, which always plays out well in watercolour. You have natural feel for the medium - keep up the work!
