Lighthouse in the storm

I am sorry for not posting for a while, but I took a course for 6 weeks in watercolourpainting. And also felt that maybe this group is for more professional amateurs.. But here we go anyway. I painted this after roadtrip to the coast. The lighthouse I saw looked nothing like this, except for the large rocks forming a brakewave. But I wanted to paint surf.

What bothers me is the broken horison-line. When the waves crashed in, you could not see the sea behind. But should I anyway hint at a continous horizon line, or should I make more of an effort to show seaspray instead of mistspray?

Sorry Seija, for the late reply. Yes, that's why it appears, somehow, a bit strange, to me.
