Under the Tuscan sun - Inspired by Peter Cronin

It has been. awhile since my last post although I have been following the forum. I have been mostly practicing and reading books by Peter Cronin, James Fletcher, Ron Ronson, Ray Campbell, etc. And feeling disappointed by the lack of progress I have been making. Well, I guess I need keep practicing.

The painting is from a picture I took when I was in Tuscany last year. And inspired by the demo painting in Peter Cronin’s book, “Pure Watercolor Painting”.

Overall, I am happy about the painting except I think I had too many hard edges in the foreground. What do you think? As always, your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

Nice one! This is funny - at the moment I am also reading the book from Peter Cronin.
