Very nice rendering of one of my favorite places. We visited the site in 1969 when we were in a foreign study for five months in Greece, studying Classics and Philosophy as students from Earlham College, a small Quaker liberal arts school. We took turns standing in the center of the stadium and declaiming something or other (yes, you can hear a whisper from the distant seats). One instructor had found a Lord Byron signature among the ruins. The statue of Apollo is my very favorite work art. To get back to your painting, I'm impressed with the details of the ruins and the hazy valley in the background.
